DOJ Sues UCLA Over Antisemitism and 'Hostile Work Environment'

The Trump administration has filed a lawsuit against the University of California, alleging that antisemitism at UCLA violated the civil rights of Jewish employees and created a hostile work environment. The legal action comes nearly seven months after the Justice Department demanded sweeping policy changes and more than $1 billion from the university system. The lawsuit is the most significant federal enforcement action targeting campus antisemitism since the wave of anti-Israel protests that swept American universities.
