Robert Carradine, 'Revenge of the Nerds' Star, Dies at 71 After Battle With Bipolar Disorder

Robert Carradine, the actor best known for playing Lewis Skolnick in 'Revenge of the Nerds' and later as Lizzie McGuire's father on the Disney Channel, has died at 71. His family says he took his own life after living with bipolar disorder for nearly two decades. Carradine was the youngest of the Carradine acting dynasty, following his father John and brothers David and Keith into the profession. His death adds to a tragic week of mental health losses, following NFL player Rondale Moore's apparent suicide at 25.
