Wife of Indiana Congressman Jim Baird Dies From Injuries Sustained in January Hit-and-Run

Danise Baird, the wife of Indiana Republican Congressman Jim Baird, died Sunday from injuries she sustained in a hit-and-run crash in January, the congressman's office announced. The death comes roughly two months after the accident that left Mrs. Baird with injuries from which she never recovered.
