Air-Traffic Controllers Clocked Out Early Before a Deadly LaGuardia Crash
Two air-traffic controllers left work about an hour before their shifts ended on the night an Air Canada Express regional jet struck a firetruck at New York's LaGuardia Airport in March, killing two pilots. Federal aviation officials have moved to fire both controllers. Several other people were injured in the collision.
