Anglers Help Scientists Save England's Sharks

Researchers spent six days on a small fishing boat in the English Channel working with recreational anglers to tag thresher sharks. The collaboration uses anglers' local knowledge to locate animals scientists rarely encounter. Tag data will inform protections for declining shark populations in English waters.
