Australian regulator finds gaps in gaming-platform child safety

Australia’s eSafety regulator found inconsistent safeguards against child exploitation and violent content on Steam, Roblox, Fortnite and Minecraft, the BBC reports. Its review covers information supplied for October 2025–March 2026. Roblox says it has invested in stronger protections; the other providers were contacted for comment. The findings describe safeguards, rather than establish harm to every user.
