Canada announced dollar-for-dollar retaliatory tariffs of up to 50 percent on hundreds of American products, including steel, aluminum, fish, cheese, furniture and paper. Finance Minister Francois-Philippe Champagne said the measures cover roughly $20 billion in U.S. exports. The move follows President Trump’s 50 percent tariffs on many Canadian goods after trade talks collapsed on Friday.
