Chile Captures a Fugitive Convicted in the Murder of Folk Singer Victor Jara

Nelson Haase, one of the men convicted over the 1973 kidnapping and murder of folk singer Victor Jara after Chile's military coup, has been captured after years as a fugitive. Jara's killing became one of the defining atrocities of the Pinochet era.
