Chinese Police Raid a Shanghai House Church and Detain Its Pastor

More than 30 officials swept into a Sunday service at an unregistered Shanghai church and detained its leader for seven days, according to a religious freedom watchdog. The raid adds to a string of actions by Chinese authorities against unregistered Christian congregations. A separate pastor arrested in March remains missing.
