Climate models project greater European potential for sorghum

via Phys.org·5h ago

INRAE and AgroParisTech modeling projects higher average European sorghum yields under future warming, with gains mainly in the north and slight losses in the south, Phys.org reports. Researchers see potential to replace some livestock-feed maize and reduce water use. These are simulations across climate scenarios, not demonstrated farming outcomes.
