A Computational Microscope Captures 25.2 Billion Pixels a Second Across a Wide Field

Optical engineers have always traded speed against field of view and resolution. A UC Berkeley-led team says it has found a way around the compromise, building a computational microscope that records 25.2 billion pixels per second while keeping a wide field in focus.
