Curtis Flowers dies after conviction overturned and charges dropped

Curtis Flowers died at 56 at his Mississippi home Wednesday, his attorney told AP, reported by The Guardian. He spent more than 22 years imprisoned and faced six trials before the Supreme Court overturned his conviction for discriminatory jury selection. Mississippi dropped the charges in 2020. His cause of death was not disclosed.
