Cyborg Cockroaches Could Carry Cameras and Medicine Into Disaster Zones

Researchers embedded electrodes in live cockroaches and outfitted them with cameras and injection devices that can deliver medication by remote control. The insects can reach spaces rescue robots cannot. Ethical questions about the approach remain unsettled.
