The Cyclospora Outbreak Becomes the Largest in U.S. History

The CDC reported more than 20,000 suspected cyclosporiasis cases this week, making the lettuce-linked outbreak the largest ever recorded in the United States. The parasite has now spread to six additional states, and health officials are still tracing shredded iceberg lettuce through the supply chain.
