France Investigates After Female Eiffel Tower Staff Were Replaced by Men for a Religious Visit
An investigation has been opened after female staff at the Eiffel Tower were reportedly replaced by male colleagues to accommodate a visiting religious delegation. Outraged workers walked off the job on Monday, closing the Paris landmark for the day. Operators of the monument have not fully explained who authorized the substitution.
