More Than 3,000 Endangered Frogs Are Released Into SoCal Mountains

The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance released more than 3,000 endangered mountain yellow-legged frogs and tadpoles into their former Southern California mountain habitat. The species was nearly wiped out by disease, drought and introduced predators. Biologists will monitor survival over the coming seasons.
