The FDA Approves a Breakthrough Treatment for Advanced Pancreatic Cancer
The Food and Drug Administration has approved daraxonrasib, a first-in-class targeted therapy for metastatic pancreatic cancer. In its clinical trial the drug nearly doubled median survival, a result oncologists describe as one of the largest gains against the disease in decades. Pancreatic cancer remains among the deadliest cancers worldwide.
