FERC proposes faster reviews for gas export terminal expansions

The Hill reports FERC proposed limiting notice and protest periods for LNG terminal expansions to 60 or 90 days and dropping some air-pollution modeling requirements. Chair Laura Swett says this would speed supplies to allies; Commissioner Judy Chang and environmental advocates question the loss of air-quality safeguards. These are proposals.
