Firm Breaks Ground on America's First Next-Gen Nuclear Reactor to Power Data Centers

A nuclear energy firm has broken ground in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, on what it calls the first advanced nuclear reactor plant in the country. Set to come online in 2030, the plant aims to blunt rising energy costs driven by Google's expanding data centers in the Tennessee-Alabama region.
