Florida deputy earns lifesaving recognition after wheelchair rescue

Fox News interviews Bill Von Herbulis after Volusia County Sgt. William Leven rescued him from a marina September 27 when his wheelchair toppled off a dock. Bodycam and sheriff’s records document the rescue, and Leven is set to receive a Lifesaving Award. The newly published account adds the family’s perspective; the rescue itself occurred two weeks earlier.
