Ford Recalls Nearly 1.4 Million F-150 Trucks Over Unexpected Downshift Defect

Ford is recalling nearly 1.4 million six-speed F-150 pickup trucks built between 2014 and 2017 over a transmission defect that can cause unexpected downshifts at highway speeds. The recall is one of Ford's largest in years for its best-selling vehicle line.
