GLP-1 Weight-Loss Drugs May Slow Aging and Extend Life Span in Mice

Older female mice equivalent in age to 60-year-old women lived about 12 percent longer when given daily injections of the active ingredient in Ozempic, a new study reports. Researchers caution that mouse longevity results often fail to translate. Human trials on aging endpoints have not been run.
