A Japanese Team Develops ‘Eco-Fireworks’ With Water-Soluble Shells
A Ryukoku University professor and the head of Kakinoki Fireworks built shells that dissolve in water, so the debris that normally rains into lakes and bays after a display simply disappears. The collaboration began, by their own account, when a man who loves things that go boom met a man who loves things that go bloom.
