Senator John Kennedy Dodges on Hegseth and Says the US Must "Choke Putin"

Senator John Kennedy declined on Sunday to say whether he still backs Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, as other Republicans raise concerns about the Iran war and turnover among senior Pentagon staff. In the same round of interviews he said the United States must "choke Putin to death" economically. The remarks came as US envoys met Russian officials.
