Rep. John Larson Loses His Primary to a Challenger Running on Generational Change

Connecticut Democrat John Larson lost his primary to a younger challenger who campaigned explicitly on turning the page from long-serving incumbents. Larson had held the seat since 1999. It is the clearest sign yet that seniority is a liability in this cycle's Democratic primaries.
