Lenape exhibit highlights contemporary art and language renewal

The Guardian reports that Halumii Ktapihna: Lenape Legacies and Futures at the Museum of the City of New York brings together contemporary Lenape art, traditional dress, music and language renewal. Curatorial advisers say it presents a living culture alongside the effects of displacement and assimilation. The exhibition runs through April 17, 2027.
