MoMA prepares digital wetland installation rooted in Berlin fieldwork

MoMA will open Jakob Kudsk Steensen’s Wetland on October 12, Smithsonian Magazine reports. The installation combines scans, ecological fieldwork, folklore and field recordings into an evolving digital swamp. MoMA confirms it runs through March 7, 2027; the work is an artistic interpretation of wetlands, rather than a scientific model of ecosystem change.
