Nepal flash flooding sweeps away homes and prompts evacuations

Nepal’s disaster authority reports at least five people missing after Budhi Gandaki River flooding damaged bridges and swept away about three dozen homes, AP reports. The army says it rescued 49 people by Sunday afternoon. Authorities attribute the flood to a breached landslide dam; the full extent of damage remains unclear.
