Nigerian Christian and Muslim Leaders Sign an Interfaith Peace Accord

More than 50 Christian and Muslim leaders in Nigeria signed an interfaith peace accord in Abuja. The agreement rejects hate speech and commits the two largest religious communities to closer cooperation. Observers called it a hopeful step amid years of religious violence.
