Nor’easter exposes historic shipwreck remains on Nantucket

The weekend storm exposed wooden ship remains on a Nantucket beach, NPR reports. They lie where wreckage found in 2022 was linked by researchers to the Warren Sawyer, a schooner lost in 1884. A local editor believes the newly exposed timbers belong to that vessel, but their identification has not been conclusively established.
