Nvidia Agrees to Acquire Hugging Face for $13 Billion

Nvidia has agreed to acquire Hugging Face, the open model and dataset hub, for $13 billion. The platform hosts a large share of the open-source AI ecosystem. The deal would place a central piece of that ecosystem inside the dominant AI chipmaker.
