Only Two States Require Schools to Teach the History of 9/11

With the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks approaching, only Florida and Arizona require schools to teach the history of the attacks, according to a review of state standards. Other states address the period through broader units. Educators disagree on whether a mandate is the right remedy.
