A Retired Fisherman Revives a Baby Otter With CPR in British Columbia

Gordon Mellish, a retired logger and fisherman in Alert Bay, British Columbia, rescued three orphaned baby otters and performed CPR on one that had stopped breathing. Neighbors in the small island community helped nurse the pups back to health. "A life’s a life, no matter what it is," Mellish said of the effort.
