Tangled Seaweed Inspires a One-Size-Fits-All Microplastic Cleaner

Copying the structure of naturally occurring seaweed mats, researchers built highly porous superadhesive meshes that capture both large and small microplastic particles. Catching the small fraction has been the long-standing failure of every previous approach.
