Thailand’s Prime Minister Vows Stricter Gun Laws After a 14-Year-Old Kills Eight
A 14-year-old opened fire at his home and then his school in Thailand, killing eight people — including five teachers — before taking his own life. One student described standing directly in front of her teacher when the woman was shot. The prime minister pledged tighter gun laws in a country where civilian firearm ownership is among the highest in Asia.
