Thieves Steal a Bronze Age Gold Trove From a Spanish Museum in Four Minutes
Thieves took roughly ten kilos of Bronze Age gold from a museum in Villena, Spain, in a heist that lasted about four minutes. The Treasure of Villena includes bowls, bottles and bracelets considered among Europe’s most important prehistoric gold finds. Spanish police are searching for the artifacts before they can be melted down.
