A Wired investigation finds that in at least two markets Uber has pushed policies that could slow the rollout of self-driving cars, giving the ride-hailing giant an advantage over autonomous-vehicle developers. Uber says it is fighting for a level playing field, but critics see an effort to protect its incumbent business.
