Uganda begins five-day measles-rubella vaccination campaign

Uganda began a measles-rubella vaccination campaign running October 1–5 for children aged nine months to five years, Nile Post reports. The Health Ministry says it aims to close gaps in second-dose uptake after measles cases and deaths were reported. Vaccination is offered at clinics and community posts; the campaign’s reach and results are not yet known.
