Volunteers Help Bring a Rare Australian Spider Orchid Back From the Brink
A team of volunteers at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Victoria has propagated more rosella spider orchids in a nursery than were believed to exist in the wild. The species is one of many Australian orchids at risk of extinction. Researchers hope to reintroduce plants to native habitat.
