Bryan Kohberger Returns to Court in a Bid to Withdraw His Guilty Plea

Bryan Kohberger, who pleaded guilty to murdering four University of Idaho students and was sentenced to life in prison, is seeking to undo that plea. Judge Steven Hippler, who accepted the plea and imposed the sentence, has scheduled a status conference for June 2027. No hearing date has been set for the underlying challenge itself.
