Engineered glycine films retain sensor properties for 60 days

via Phys.org·4h ago

Stanford researchers stabilized flexible glycine-based piezoelectric films with controlled crystal formation and a polymer matrix, Phys.org reports on an Advanced Functional Materials study. The material retained performance after 60 days in the reported tests. Medical and environmental sensors are prospective uses; testing at body temperature and varied acidity is still planned.
