Researchers derive gravity equations from quantum relative entropy

Phys.org reports that researchers used quantum relative entropy to reconstruct a derivation of semiclassical Einstein equations, in Physical Review Letters. The mathematical work strengthens an existing connection between information and gravity. It provides no immediate application or experimental proof of a complete theory of quantum gravity.
