Former Lincolnshire golf course opens as a coastal wetland reserve

Sandilands, a former golf course on England’s Lincolnshire coast, has opened as a wetland reserve after six years of planning and restoration, Good News Network reports. The National Trust says avocets and oystercatchers have already nested there. New paths and boardwalks give residents access while the charity develops habitat for migratory birds.
