Louvre Islamic Masterpieces Come to the Smithsonian for the First Time

Twenty-six works of Islamic art from the Louvre will travel to the United States for the first time. The September exhibition at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art spans many centuries and regions. It is titled "From the Louvre: Masterpieces of Islamic Art."
