Netflix announces 1,000 job cuts worldwide

BBC News reports that Netflix will cut 1,000 jobs, about 6% of its workforce, mainly in human resources, legal, product and technology teams. Its co-chief executives say the company remains on track for its financial forecasts while concentrating resources on growth. The cuts are its largest since 2022; results are due Oct. 20.
