A Study Finds Brain Disease in Dead NFL Players Higher Than Previously Shown
A new study found that at least one in four former NFL players who died between 2016 and 2021 had a degenerative brain disease, and researchers say the true figure could be higher. The findings add to evidence linking repeated head impacts to CTE. Youth participation in tackle football has been declining.
