Oaxaca journalist killed in armed attack as prosecutors examine motive

Journalist and local-news owner Hamurabi Huesca Manzano was killed in an Oaxaca attack that also killed two others, Al Jazeera and AFP report. Prosecutors’ initial theory concerns a dispute between criminal groups; they have not established whether his reporting played a role. Article 19 urged investigators to examine that possibility.
