Study identifies barriers for cancer survivors returning to work

Griffith University researchers interviewed 22 survivors, health professionals and employers about returning to work after cancer, Phys.org reports. They identified persistent fatigue, cognitive effects and workplace barriers, and offered 13 recommendations. The findings come from a small qualitative study, rather than a population-wide estimate of how often these barriers occur.
