Study review links digital textbooks with stronger learning motivation

A review of 27 studies involving 3,590 participants found higher intrinsic motivation with digital textbooks than with paper editions, according to research summarized by Phys.org. Effects varied by educational level and cultural setting. The findings concern motivation and do not establish that every digital textbook improves academic achievement.
