A Contractor Pays $57 Million Over Faked Radiation Data at a San Francisco Shipyard
Tetra Tech EC Inc. paid $57 million to resolve False Claims Act allegations that it fabricated work and falsified data during the radiological cleanup of a former San Francisco naval shipyard. The data was used by the federal government to assess site safety. The company did not admit liability.
